◆Sora Fujii Profile


Born May 20, 1984, in Okayama Prefecture.
Raised in a household where jazz and昭和歌謡 (Showa-era popular songs) played, he began learning piano, electronic organ, and trumpet from a young age. He majored in electronic organ at Yamaha Music Academy, where he was exposed to various genres of music, including jazz. He won 5th place in the Yamaha Electone Concours 2012.
He is self-taught on trumpet and jazz piano, and currently works as a multi-instrumentalist across various genres, primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area. He has been influenced by artists such as Freddie Hubbard, Allan Holdsworth, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, and Jordan Rudess.

He has collaborated with artists including Anonymous, Daisuke Ono, Keroppons, Hiromi Go, Mitsuru Sutoh, Goro Noguchi, Hiroyuki Noritake, Isao Bito, and BOYS AND MEN Kanto Area Trainees.
His hobbies include watching videos of famous moments in sports (primarily sumo wrestling and boxing), and he is a big fan of Mike Tyson. He sometimes incorporates sports-like strategies into his instrument practice and creative activities. He also owns three Java sparrows and shares their daily life on his YouTube channel.
