◆Profile of Ms. Nozomi Nagasaka

MT-BC (Board Certified Music Therapist by the Certification Board for Music Therapists)
Certified Music Therapist by the Japanese Music Therapy Association

Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music, Department of Vocal Music, and completed her master's degree in Music Therapy and Vocal Performance at the School of Music, College of Arts, Illinois State University.
In San Diego, California, she studied under Dr. Barbara Reuer, former president of the American Music Therapy Association, gaining experience in wellness and palliative care music therapy, and drum circle facilitation.
After returning to Japan, she established "Rhythm in Life" with the desire to help people live better lives through music that cherishes "Here and Now," emotions, and the power of resonance. She engages in clinical activities in welfare, education, medical settings, and local communities. She also teaches as a part-time lecturer at Musashino University and Tokyo Rissho Junior College, and as a drum circle facilitator, she works to allow more people to feel the power of music in communities, companies, and international conferences.
Her publications include "Music Therapist" (Shinsuisha) and translations such as "Music Therapist Handbook" (ATN Inc.) and "Together in Rhythm" (ATN Inc.).
